Dragonborn Traits
Ability Score Increase: +2 Strength and +1 Charisma.
Age: young dragonborn grow quickly, reaching the size and development of a 10-year old human by the age of 3, and reach adulthood by 15. The live to be around 80. Note: within the World of Io, some dragonborn can live much, much longer than that.
Size: Dragonborn are taller and heavier than humans, standing well over 6 feet tall and weighing around 250-350 pounds (it's all those scales). You are Medium, and your base speed is 30 feet.
Draconic Ancestry: you have draconic ancestry. Choose one type of dragon from the table below. You Breath Weapon and Damage Resistance are determined by the dragon type.
Breath Weapon: you can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your Draconic Ancestry (see below) determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw (determined by the type). The DC for this saving throw = 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. This damage amount increases to 3d6 at level 6, 4d6 at level 11, and 5d6 at level 16. You may only use this ability once per short or long rest.
Damage Resistance: you have resistance (take half damage) to the damage type from your Draconic Ancestry.
Languages: you can speak, read, and write common and draconic.
