What is this madness?

The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy.
The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more.

Here through the DM's Den, we play D&D across multiple campaigns in a custom world and timeline constructed by Adamus Drake Summerer using the D&D 5th Edition ruleset, as well as other settings that fit the desires of our expansive clientele.

We play on most weekends with a custom one-shot, or one of our signature longform campaigns.  The Knight Owls (we play from 7:00pm - 12:30am on Saturdays once a month), and a 21+ late-night event called Gray Owls (6pm - about 2am twice a month).

How to use this part of the site

Since D&D is one of our most popular gaming systems and uses a lot of custom content, we thought it best to make some resources that current players and prospective players could use.

The History of Io - a collection of known history of the world our adventurers move through.  This includes common knowledge, but is constantly updated with the lore uncovered by player-characters as they play in each campaign. (currently under revisions as the Director begins self-publication!)
Custom Content - stop by here to see what custom Feats and specialized Prestige Classes are available for use in the campaigns here.
Classes For Dummies -
Spell Compendium (5th Edition) - spell books just keep getting bigger...  This is a resource to help keep it all straight in our heads.

Thanks for looking around and have an awesome day!
